Ellis Island Casino, Hotel and Brewery is taking its family-owned, hometown feel outside. To “The Front Yard,” to be exact.
With its commitment to quality, value, great gaming, above-and-beyond service and famed karaoke lounge, Ellis Island has been a popular Las Vegas destination for over 50 years among locals and tourists alike. On Thursday, June 22, 2017, they held a press conference unveiling plans to expand with a new outdoor entertainment venue to be named “The Front Yard”. Key media from around the valley attended the event, which showcased the breathtaking model of “The Front Yard”. Various gourmet appetizers were available to invited guests as well as an open bar featuring two of the specialty cocktails to be served in The Front Yard, the Jack Honey Long Island and Raspberry Vodka Lemonade. Speeches were made by owner Gary Ellis as well as Director of Marketing Christina Ellis who says, “The Front Yard is an exciting addition to the property that will offer something new and engaging to our guests while retaining the inviting, family-oriented feeling that Ellis Island is known for.” The venue is set to break ground July 5 and plans to invite guests to hop on over by the end of 2017. The Front Yard is exactly what you would expect – and more – from the iconic Las Vegas destination. The name and design are perfect extensions of that friendly, welcoming, family-feel quality that Ellis Island continuously strives to provide for its guests.
The Front Yard will be a two-story addition complete with a new dining experience, gaming, live entertainment and – as you would expect from Nevada’s #1 Brewery – drinking. Although Ellis Island is a top-voted microbrewery and one of the largest independent breweries in the Southwest, you can expect The Front Yard to be much more than just a “beer garden”. In addition to the wide variety of fresh brews straight from the tap and full wine and bar menus, Ellis Island plans to distill its own spirits on the property to use in their specialty cocktails.
The brewing and distilling aspects of the company have even been integrated into the design of The Front Yard. A window will allow guests to view the brewing process from inside the venue. The interior will contain wood fixtures, exposed steel and a rustic, comfortable, garden-like atmosphere. Interactive games such as beer pong, shuffleboard and cornhole will also be available. The second floor will feature an atrium view as well as provide the perfect viewing platform for the live entertainment. A variety of musical acts will grace The Front Yard stage from local up-and-comers to the occasional headliner.
The Front Yard, with a capacity of 300 and variety of amenities, will provide a great space to rent for corporate events, private parties, weddings, receptions, corporate retreats and more.
